MLA Krushna Chandra Nayak Launches “Bharosa Redressal Portal” to Boost Citizen Grievance Redressal in Chatrapur

Chatrapur, Odisha | August 5, 2025 —In a significant stride towards inclusive and digitally empowered governance, Sri Krushna Chandra Nayak, Hon’ble MLA of Chatrapur Assembly Constituency, today formally launched the Bharosa Redressal Portal — a dedicated online grievance redressal system aimed at fostering direct communication between the public and their elected representative.

Accessible via www.krushnaforOdisha.com, the Bharosa Redressal Portal is designed to streamline the grievance submission process, enhance administrative accountability, and promote greater civic participation. This initiative also aligns with the broader objectives of the Digital India campaign led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, with a specific focus on strengthening digital literacy and civic-tech integration at the grassroots level.

The portal has been conceptualized and developed by Genres Pvt. Ltd., a recognized startup under both Startup India and Startup Odisha, bringing together technological innovation and public service.

Key Features and Process:

  1. Citizens can access the portal at www.krushnaforOdisha.com and navigate to the Grievance section.
  2. Upon filling out their personal details and the nature of the grievance, users can submit the form online.
  3. Once submitted, the grievance is automatically directed to the MLA’s office.
  4. Sri Nayak personally reviews each submission and initiates appropriate action. Efforts are made to resolve issues at the constituency level; where necessary, matters are escalated to the concerned departments for resolution.
  5. The office of the MLA remains actively involved in monitoring and following up until each grievance is adequately addressed.

Speaking at the launch event, MLA Krushna Chandra Nayak emphasized the portal’s role in bringing governance closer to the people:

“The Bharosa Redressal Portal is a platform of trust, transparency, and timely action. It represents my commitment to ensure that no voice in Chatrapur goes unheard. By leveraging digital tools, we are making governance more responsive, inclusive, and participatory.”

Beyond grievance redressal, the MLA underscored his broader vision to empower youth, enhance civic engagement, and build a digitally literate society. In the coming months, additional initiatives will be introduced to support skill development, innovation, and e-governance adoption across the constituency.

The Bharosa Redressal Portal is expected to serve as a model for other constituencies seeking to bridge the gap between citizens and governance through technology.
