Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 Sets Guinness World Record With Over 35.3 Million Registrations

New Delhi, August 5 — The Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025, an annual interactive event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi engages with students ahead of board exams, has set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘most people registered on a citizen engagement platform in one month.’

The record-breaking milestone was achieved with over 35.3 million registrations between December 14, 2024, and January 14, 2025, making the eighth edition of PPC the largest of its kind globally.

Certificate Presented by Guinness World Records

At a celebratory event in Delhi, Rishi Nath, official adjudicator of Guinness World Records, presented the certificate to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The event was graced by Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Jitin Prasada, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

PPC: A New National Approach to Exams

Calling it a “festival of learning,” Minister Pradhan praised PPC’s transformation into a nationwide movement that encourages students to tackle exams with confidence and joy. He added that PPC has redefined the traditional outlook on exams, making it more inclusive and participatory.

The 2025 edition of PPC drew a record viewership of over 210 million across all platforms, further cementing its status as one of India’s most impactful educational outreach initiatives.

“The overwhelming participation in PPC 2025 reflects the country’s collective commitment to holistic and inclusive education, aligning with the vision of a Viksit Bharat,” Pradhan said.
