CM Mohan Majhi Listens to PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram Students

BHUBANESWAR, July 28: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday joined young students at the Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram in Mancheshwar Industrial Area to listen to the 124th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

The chief minister’s participation underscored his support for the Prime Minister’s message-driven outreach, which has been inspiring citizens across the country through stories of determination, innovation, and community service.

CM Encourages Students to Draw Inspiration from PM’s Words

After listening to the broadcast alongside the young tribal students, CM Majhi urged them to take inspiration from PM Modi’s messages.

“The Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ teaches us about dedication, hard work, and the transformative power of positive action. I urge all of you to study well, dream big, and work hard to become successful citizens who can contribute meaningfully to society,” the chief minister told the children.

PM Modi Highlights Odisha’s Tribal Initiatives

In this edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Modi spotlighted grassroots success stories from Odisha, particularly acknowledging:

  • The revival of traditional Santhali sarees by tribal women in Mayurbhanj district, preserving cultural heritage while promoting sustainable livelihoods.

  • The eco-conservation efforts of Pramila Pradhan from Keonjhar district, who has become a symbol of environmental stewardship in her community.

The PM’s focus on these stories once again illustrated his commitment to bringing the achievements of common citizens to the national spotlight.

CM Plants Sapling, Reaffirms Green Commitment

To mark the occasion and promote environmental awareness, CM Majhi planted a neem sapling on the ashram premises. The gesture was symbolic of the state’s continued emphasis on green development and ecological responsibility.
